Good Morning, hope someone can help. I have a Clk 320 yr2000 and am in the process of replacing the battery. I know I will need to reset the CD/cassette/radio, It's the original model and I do have my Radio code but do not have a manual so I am unsure how I enter the code. Advice please.

Regards

From memory, I think that when you have connected the new battery, switch the radio on and I believe it then asks you to enter a code via the radio selector buttons.
You may also find that the electric windows need resetting too but I can't remember the sequence for that.
Hope that helps.

You can connect another battery to the +ve terminal under the bonnet whilst you change batteries that way you don't have to reset any codes or windows and no issue with blowing SAM's. Just be careful with the positive battery terminal when your changing the battery as your mind is telling you it is disconnected however it is still live due to the battery you've connected under the bonnet.
If you don't have jump leads and a spare battery to reset the code you use the buttons on the right of the radio to enter the code although I cannot remember the exact procedure. To reset the windows press the switch all the way down and hold for 10 seconds after the window is fully open the pull all the way up and hold for 10 seconds after the window is fully closed. DO this for each window and the one touch open/close will work again.

if it's an Audio 10 CD

you have to press the right hand knob to get it going, then twiddle the knob to set each number, press it when you are happy, which moves you on to the next number, repeat, then press it for a couple of seconds when you have entered all the numbers.
