Can't speak for the OP, but when I did it it was because it was for my winter wheels and for some reason, the options for 265 width rears with the appropriate load rating for the CL were incredibly limited and significantly more expensive than the 245/40/18 tyres. Narrower tyres also tend to be better in the snow and my insurance company just shrugged when I told them.If you care what it looks like, why drop from 265 to 245?
