Got a nox semsor replaced by main dealer at a cost of €1125 was told no good will from MB once car is over 5 years old.
Was told they hada lot of nox sensor failures but once over 5 years it up to customer to pay full cost. They put in a good will gesture to MB but it was refused.
surley this Nox sensor is not fit for purpose as my C200D has low mileage 57,000.
Has anyone got a better response frpm MB on this issue.

Did you have the Nox sensor fault after the Mercedes software update by any chance?

The first sensor went before software upgrade.the second sensor failed 12 months after software upgrade and was not covered by goodwill.
main dealer charged me €1125

Mercedes will do goodwill up to 5 years old cars only.was not aware of any recall as my car was not part of this re call.

If you"ve had a software update and then had the issues, search for "software update" or "software upgrade" which should get you something. Eg: https://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/...r-adblue-issues-2016-mercedes-205-204.199820/ or https://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/index.php?threads/diesel-software-recall.192496/
