    Hi newbie here,

Not sure if I’m posting this in the correct place but I’ve got an issue with my nox sensor and after speaking with a local Mercedes specialist today. He told me he’d been in contact with Mercedes and they will be recalling all vehicles fitted with nox sensors. I find this hard to believe as that must be a massive number of vehicles.

Has anyone else heard about this?

They have been replacing them f.o.c for all customers I have sent to the dealer, after they have come to us for diagnosis.
I heard a while ago that there was an issue with them and they were replacing them. Would make sense that they may issue a formal recall...

    Smart + others :)
Depending on fault, some are replaced under warranty.

Mine is outside of warranty and the fault code is p2200. Is this fault code the one they’ll replace for free?

I have no idea what your faults code m
I have no idea what your fault code refers too.
But I know that the NoX sensor fault is very common.
I had them replaced FOC on my E class even though it had gone out of warranty.
My local MB dealer told me they have replaced thousands of them, and replace for free even if the car is out of warranty, as long as it has a full service history.
Go and see your local dealer and see what they say, you have nothing to loose.

Is your E class a diesel? I did call Mercedes and they said they had never heard of the nox sensor issue I
Think that’s mainly because my car is petrol.
