We are on a 4 day road trip in the 55 up north from Cambridgeshire to East Riding and across the Moors and Dales to Cambria and Lancashire. Now passed the 100000ml stage and have averaged 21.4mpg over 5800mls and 18mpg today Home tomorrow, but not before visiting the car wash lads

Sky??? we came across these in a town called Hemsley? On or near the Yorkshire Moors, one of those hand made chocolate shops, could have spent a fortune in there

My wife was in that shop about three weeks ago, didn't mention Flying Saucers though. Like most shops, I just stand outside people watching

Flat battery, called Mercedes Roadside Assistance - arrived quickly, brilliant chap - sorted the battery, advised to consider a replacement (Bosch S4 is about 10yrs old).

Anyone knows if I can fit a type 110 battery in 169?
Any of diesel models were supplied with this?
I want to get the maximum Ah and CCA possible for the space available.

You'd need to look at physical size and terminal locations. If they stack up then it should be ok.

Had the E320 CDI remapped in Glasgow today took just under 2 hours very happy with it. From 204 to around 265hp, not had it on the Dyno, but I will at some point.

It's much faster timed it at 5.9s to 60 before it was just over 7, and the TC light is on for a lot longer now. Also had the egr deleted while I was at it

You'd need to look at physical size and terminal locations. If they stack up then it should be ok.

It looks like I might be able to hammer it in, but it'll be nightmare handling the breather pipe, and the [thick] positive wires out of the box (the whole thing is under the driver's footwell floor).

I'll go for the type 96 instead - 278mm will fit fine, and still more juice than recommended type 27
