A catalogue of woes there! Giles will get to the bottom of it thoughOil leak from what looks like a tiny radiator in front of the air-con rad. Drove the car up onto my lorry, locked it, ready to take to Giles and when I headed off on Tuesday morning the car alarm went off. By the time I realised it was the wife's SL on the back of the lorry and not the neigbours works van the alarm had stopped. So used the fob to unlock the wife's car and it wouldn't unlock, I put the key blade into the door lock, opened the door and the alarm went off again. No amount of pressing the buttons on the key worked, neither did putting the key into the ignition as it wouldn't turn. I then pressed the unlock button on the key and held the button down. The alarm switched off I put the key into the ignition and started the car, all's good then I switched off the towing alarm and siren on the centre console and left to take the car to the garage. At the garage the car started, backed it off the lorry and the car was locked. Giles phoned last Thursday to say he can't get into the car as the alarm goes off and that was after he had to use the key blade to open the door. It's like it has dead locked itself thinking it is trying to be nicked.
My wife has been using the 55 since Monday

Night illumination is almost a perfect match.
What you got now buddy ... Stick some pics up . (Was it the E320cdi)Said goodbye to it....and said hello to its replacement!
Nothing to the car other than putting 65 miles on it, but yesterday we moved house. A HUGE thank you to LostKiwi (Alastair) who demonstrated yet again what a gentleman and general all- around top man he is by contributing his Saturday and about 15,000 calories of effort in helping with the loading & unloading.
Now- to the garage!
