It will smell nicer than the IPA as it has an additive of citrus lime peel in there!
Others than that the differences in the two are that the IPA is purer, containing , well, alcohol which will evaporate nicely, it’s very pure as propanols are.
The Dodo is a more hydrocarbon based product , mixing C11-C13 chain with C12-C16, stuff like Diethylene Imidoxide Oleates. I suspect that’s to bond to the paint a little, not 100% sure on that. It will have a residue
In summary:-
One is pure and will evaporate almost completely, leaving no residue or smell
The other will smell very funky and leave a residue (which is presumably desirable to bond to paint and the wax which will follow?)
Take your pick- both will broadly do the same job...
Jesus buddy ,did you eat a chemical study manual :D

Simple process

Wash
Clay
Wash
AG SRP / UDS
Wax
Sonax

By putting Sonax over the top you seal the wax, you can apply up to 4 coats but any more and you will watch it wash off, just top up every now and then, will make keeping the shine much easier

I do the whole process every 6 months and only ever need to use Sonax in between

My process is..........
1. Wash
2. Dry
3. Clay
4. Wash
5. Dry
6. Autoglym SRP

Normal washes are just 1, 2 and 6.

I never wax or use sealant although I do have a virtually unused bottle of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection.

Why dry before clay?? Clay need lubricating with water (bilt hamber does anyway)

AG EGP is crap compared to Sonax and hard to use in comparison

I use AG Detailing Spray with clay, habit really as I know water is ok too.

220 quid for wheel speed sensors ? my good god Alex , are they gold plated ?

I would hope so!

I tried the cheap febi ones but they gave no speed signal at all.

I used to do that
Thank God someone on here put me in touch with Collonite 476
2 coats of AG SRP and the top Gloss would bead for 3 weeks.

Used Colonite, two coats in October! Its still beading now ... but is propably now due a top up, to keep it at its best.
IMO its 10x better than AG, and works out soooooo much cheaper. Provided you do 2 panels at a time its just as easy as SRP ,,, and no white dust.

I dread to think how much money I wasted over the decades on AG SRP, and seven times as many applications ... thats a hell of a lot of work!
