Picked up my C300 Coupe on the 24th March 2016 from Brentford, London (could do with a lesson in CS).
Upon pick up we were notified that there was an issue with the 'locking back' of the passenger seat. Although it went back into place correctly, the sensor thought otherwise so dash warning were appearing. Wasn't the start we were after and to then find out it was a 6 week lead time for new parts wasn't great.
A few weeks after (mid April '16) the boot wouldn't shut. On investigation, the bracket that I think houses the gas chamber for self opening/closing gas cell (I think that is what its for) came loose on the left side. so it was booked in for the following week. In the lead up to it being seen, we left it outside the flat, went out to it in the evening to find the boot open on its own accord. Luckily nothing was stolen. It was picked up that night as a matter of urgency due to security issues (enter the car through the boot etc...)
The above was then fixed, or so we thought...
Last week the non-closing of the boot issue returned, 2 weeks after it was last in. Exact same problem as before. Arm of the boot lid was hitting the loose gas chamber bracket. It is currently with Mercedes, has been since the 5th May '16. Apparently a rivet had come loose. Seat is now finally getting fixed.
Are there any 2016 model C Class Coupe owners on here experiencing similar problems?
Cheers,
