Today I swapped out the Radio 10 on my 2002 C200 K coupe for an Xtrons Android 8.0 inch head unit. Everything went fine but I obviously had to disconnect the centre console which includes the airbag off warning lamp. I noticed whilst fitting the unit that the SRS warning was on but once I reconnected the console the warning was off.
When almost finished, I had to turn the car around to get access to the passenger side and I did this with the console disconnected and of course the SRS warning was on. I then reconnected everything only to find that the SRS warning remained on .
From reading other threads here and on other forums I have concluded that the SRS warning has to be reset. Is there anything else I can try? If not, does anyone know of a location in the Southampton area where I can get the warning reset without it costing an arm and a leg?
I appreciate your informed replies!
