My 2003 update is obviously a little different from yours. Under my large hose, I have the alternator and to one side, the oil filter housing, so I'm guessing a bit.
However, it appears, from what you say, that an oily mess is leaking from the large hose where it joins the inlet manifold. This sounds like the gunge that we have been referring to that chokes up the manifold and egr valve. To have it leaking from that hose, however, would indicate you have an air leak from the hose. This could be from around the clamp or possibly from a split in the hose. As this is under boost pressure, it should be attended to.
You need to have your manifold and egr removed and cleaned out properly, the swirl flaps and motor checked and the shunt done to stop it gungeing up again.
Yes Oigle, that's what is happning, i think is the clamp around the hose and i'll get it checked and will post back.
