Urgent help SBC brakes

2003 211 , ive deactivated SBC using mb2 , but still cant get rear caliper back in to replace the pads , help

Open the bleed nipple before pushing pad back?

could still be seized ...

You'e now trying to move the piston back to a place it's not been to since it last had new pads and as the piston has been extended for a while it could be rusty enough to not move back ....

Not sure what the issue was , took caliper off , put it in the vice , gave it a sharp tap with a hammer and it dropped back easy , very odd , thanks fir you thoughts guys

So it was seized or you were pushing piston back crooked pal.

Might now need a caliper overhaul kit ? If there is corrosion on the piston it could still stick again ?

a sign would be one pad considerably more worn than the rest esp on that caliper if not so then having pushed it back yr likely good to go

im having to go for the latter pal , ive had that before on other makes but this never looked out of square to me
