Urgent help SBC brakes

2003 211 , ive deactivated SBC using mb2 , but still cant get rear caliper back in to replace the pads , help

could still be seized ... :confused:

You'e now trying to move the piston back to a place it's not been to since it last had new pads and as the piston has been extended for a while it could be rusty enough to not move back ....

Not sure what the issue was , took caliper off , put it in the vice , gave it a sharp tap with a hammer and it dropped back easy , very odd , thanks fir you thoughts guys

So it was seized or you were pushing piston back crooked pal. :)

Might now need a caliper overhaul kit ? If there is corrosion on the piston it could still stick again ?

a sign would be one pad considerably more worn than the rest esp on that caliper if not so then having pushed it back yr likely good to go
