Hi
Any ideas the wipers dont work on my car?
The indicators and main beam work on the stork but no wipers.
I have a 450 haynes manuel and it says nothing at all about wipers apart from changing the blades.
I have checked all fuses all ok.
The car is running now but hasn't run for two years.

Regards

The connector block for the multifunction switch is down by the drivers knee. The cover can be removed making it easy to check for power coming out of it.
If there is power then bearing in mind the recent history of your car the chances are that the fault lies with the motor.
Was it parked outside for the last two years?

Hi Was this ever resolved? My 86 has seized wipers, the motor works fine but not the mechanical bits. How do you release, lubricate or change the the mechanism?

I think there is a Haines book for your car, worth having for these jobs

Parrot of Doom did an illustrated post on how to lubricate the wiper mechanism of the 124 - I am sure that would answer your question.
