I have spent the morning replacing the gear change slide cam on the gearbox casing. After trying to adjust gear change under lever on dashboard, I am still unable to select reverse,second,fourth.Do I now replace the cable assy? The gears will operate ok if pushed into place on the side of the gearbox by hand.

Not sure if anyone here can help, I have never seen a posting on it, and looking at the MB set up instructions I have never been able to work it out..
