Hi,

I havent been using my 123-200 very regularly recently. The last few months, ive noticed the temp guage tends to flicker a lot, i thought a long trip may sort it out, but it hasnt. Just wondering where the temperature sender is located, cant find it? Am i correct in thinking this may just need cleaning up??

Thanks

Jay

your fuel gauge sender may be sticking or its rheostat may be faulty.

it is located on top of the fuel tank, just remove the boot mat in the boot and you should be able to locate the fuel sender connecter, then remove the connecter, proceed to remove the sender-not sure how ,look in a haynes manual which should give you more details.

good luck :D

oops!

sorry,i must have misread your post first time around!

the temp gauge sender is located on the cylinder head-could be a connector which is dirty or sender itself mabe faulty.

hope this helps.
