Have 1993 280E The Low engine oil level light seems to be staying on.
The car has been stood for about 6 months and I don't remember the light being on when it was last used.
Oil level is fine, oil pressure is good - I've changed the oil, and the garage has checked the sender (in the sump) and tell me when they take the wire off the switch the light doesn't go out - it stays on.
I assume its just the switch that has gone? or could it be something else?
