190e 1985 Poor starting

Hi everyone, Iv'e just bought a 190e (1985)
Great car. Small problem with starting..
When cold starting the engine runs rough and sounds like a motor boat for approx 30 seconds, then runs perfectly. Any ideas please to clear the problem.

i have the same car 85 190E 2.3 5 speed . . .

i have the same problem too is ur fuel injected or carborated


mine is carborated any way i bought some STP fuel injected cleaner / carborator cleaner and i am going to see if this works i will let u know and if u find out anything tell me please

also i am having problems with the fog lights

hi there

if your fog lights aren't working then the first thing to check is the fuse box. give the relevant fuse a twist and a turn etc. to get rid of anything which breaks the current.
