Hi all, i do apologise i this is a common thread, but after seraching through the forum, i couldnt find a common answer.
Bascially after about 4 months of trouble free driving with the 190e, this strange intermittent problem arrose.
If you leave it idling, u hear it miss, or splutter every so often. Then if u try and drive off after this, it either stalls, or it "kangeroo's" for a few meters, then picks up, and drivers normally. It seems as though its o  erfueling at idle possibly, but being an automatic, it makes it impossible to drive, becuase u have to accelerate hard, to clear it out.
The problem is, i can take it to a garage becuase it is so intermittent. Every time it has been there, it has been perfect!!
This annoying prblem ruins an otherwise very happy experience with the 190e. I picked it up a couple of months back for just over £1k, with 122k on the clock. I think its a beautiful car to drive, very smooth, well built, no rust after 12 years (J reg) and a very good driving position (im quite tall, so i love the amount of leg room)
I personally think it should have larger vented discs on the front, as they do seem to overheat easily after some hard use, but hey, no car is perfect
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks
Mat
