When my 190e has been running for about 20 minutes water starts to spray/flow out of the coolant cap and overflow. Also there is a thick browny gunge in the coolant apressure cap and pipes which i think indicates a cylinder head gasket problem.
I have been told that when a cylinder head gasket cracks gases leak into the coolant passages and over pressurize the system causing water to be forced out of the cap which sounds about right and expensive!
Before i scrap it i am considering a last ditch attempt and use a cooling system repair product. Would this work? and are the gases getting in via the oil or water, i.e do i buy a product such as this cargo sealup:
http://www.fasteronline.co.uk/Kalimex-kalimex-cargo-sealup-kal1008-p-606.html
It states that i need to empty the cooling system before use but how do i do that?
Many thanks
