So, after changing the head gasket, replacing all the parts (including bit that I broke getting them off...) - starts first time (yay) but still has a serious lack of power... same story as before;
idles ok, very very slow getting to 3500rpm then takes off like a rocket... its the same weither hot or cold... seems to be fuelling the engine properly - timing all seems ok all the filters / plugs are near new... the only thing that could require changing is the distributor cap, but the one on there seem in fair condition and i have no misfires or anything...
any ideas??
