Hi,

Just got a 190E (sorry, I'll stop going on about it soon!) and my only minor problem is getting my legs under the steering wheel. I am tall, with long legs, the wheel is quite large with no adjustment. It occurred to me that a smaller steering wheel would ease the problem, but would obviously alter the driving experience.

Does anyone else have any experience of this? Any other tall people have problems?

Thanks,

Paul

Yes, got three adjusters, fore and aft, up and down and rake. Its finding a compromise between a position that's comfortable for driving and one that allows me to slide under the wheel. For example when I operate the clutch I can't bring my knee straight up - I have to bring it up and out to the left.

Its not insurmountable, but it occurred to me that a smaller diameter wheel would increase my options. But a smaller wheel would make the car heavier to steer at low speeds...

Cheers,

Paul
