Thanks all. I have the Haynes manual but I am looking for the Mercedes owners handbook that came with the car when new. Bob

Have you tried a MB dealer? I think you might be able to order one from them for around £20.

Hi Bob,

The file size is 19 Mb and even with WinRAR, I can only reduce it to 16Mb. It won't go through my personal email, but I can send it using work email. Will your email accept a file this large? Don't want to send it if it's going to make your email stick on 'receiving mail' forever! Let me know? Alternatively, any size-reducing suggestions gratefully received.

230ce owners handbook

Thanks for that info Ray. I am no computor buff and the only size/capacity info I can find on google at the moment states that I have 7/8000 MB available. What that means, I have no idea. I will find out for sure and let you know. In the meantime accept my thanks for the trouble you have taken to help. Bob

Hi Ray, Just found the info. My email can take up to 20mb but anything between 17 and 20mb can go over the limit because of some sort of extra coding. If you can do at 16mb, then it should be ok. Google says that if it goes over 20mb they will send a warning to advise me of such. Hope this helps. Bob (I'm learning all the time).

The dreaded boomerang mail bomb! :D

Well, two days later, I got a message undelivered notification, but luckily, no rebounded attachment. I guess the IT Manager has got some sort of barrier against it.

Bob, if you're reading this, I'll try MSN as Malcolm suggests and if that doesn't work, happy to burn onto a CD and post it!

Hi all, Thanks for all the trouble you have gone to Ray. I have been away for the last week and the computor has been switched off - would that be the reason it bounced back? If you send it on a CD, I will be happy to cover any costs. In the meantime, I will check MSN. Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions. Bob
