1990 300se W126 oil filter change

Hi all,can anyone tell me if the oil filter unscrews clockwise or anti-clockwise on my 300se w126??

Always anti clockwise unless your in australia then you let the missus do it

On an interesting note about filters, a couple of oil changes ago I used a Hengst filter, I usually use Mann. I found that the filter didn't seal properly although it was well-tightened and as a result the leaked oil. Interestingly the seal was visually OK, the leak only occurred under pressure. Since then I have not deviated from Mann filters.
