have just bought a 190e that has been sat in a field for several years (low mileage but several problems...)

The car starts, idles and runs well - oil was changed just before put in storange. However, there is a lack of power that I can not work out... I notice other people have mentioned a vacuum advance being split / faulty - where is the vacuum advance?

It heats up fine (no loss of water and heaters are working in the cabin so water is circulating), but the guage barely rises above 40. The Thermostat is connected properly but there is a sensor on the water resevoir that is not connected - could this be the problem?

Any do's or dont's for cars that have been sat for long periods? any advice would be appreciated!
