My car was overheating. I changed the t/stat which was stuck close (correct one replaced). Again the car was still overheating. I have also changed the water pump as this had a noisy bearing. Again still overheating. The ratio of anti freeze to water is 50/50. The car has a viscous fan, which appears to me to be working. The temperature rises fairly quickly to 80C and fluctuates between 80C-120C depending on traffic conditions. When the engine is switched off, after a couple of minutes standing, water is lost through the pipe at the neck of the radiator cap. For some reason pressure is building up. Any ideas please.
