1998 sprinter 312D collapsing pip

hi, im after a bit of knowledge, my dads 312d sprinter on a 1998 R keeps collapsing pipes, we changed the metal one with the flexi bit from the egr valve yesterday as that had collapsed, but now one of the inlet manifold hoses keeps collapsing, how many air filters are on these vans? its as if its struggling to pull the air through into the inlet.


can anyone shed any light onto the problem, the vehicle is seriously lacking power

Ditto, first thing i thought of. Or how about the turbo being seized..?? just a guess.

Check wher it takes air in under the wing, had one recently somebody had masked up with tape while being resprayed and not removed it.
