2007 C220 CDI Estate
Hi, I am new to this site and I’m a first time Mercedes owner.
Yesterday I was bequeathed a 2007 C220 CDI De Elegance Estate. Low mileage and immaculate.

After just one day I love how comfortable and cruisey it is. I can only imagine how nice the newer models are.

I have put my dash cam in and I have a charging cable for my phone. I now need more USB charging ports and I don’t like cables straddled across the dash.

Has anyone installed extra USB charging ports in their older C220 or similar without having to dismantle/remove multiple trim panels.

I can buy a 12v twin port usb unit and mount it in the glove box or underneath out of the way (for the dash cam lead) but where do I wire it into?

Thank you.

I’d take the power from the back of the 12v “cigarette lighter” socket
