I have a 06 mercedes sprinter 616 2.7 cdi. I have been having some trouble with the van for the last month or so, can starts and drives normal for the first 5-10 mins. Then starts to loose power like limp mode, generally wont go over 50 mph but takes forever to reach that. If the van is switched off during this limp mode period ot will not start, engine will tick over but won’t fire, then i have to exit the van and lock it, leave it for around 20 - 25 mins and then return it will start but repeats the same process of driving for 10 mins and going into limp mode. I have no warning lights on the dash. Sometimes it will sort its self out after 30-40 mins driving on the motorway. Would appreciate any advice

That doesn't sound nice Billy. Best to get the codes read first and post back here if the mechanic reading them doesn't suspect anything as it could be a number of things.
