Hi guys, have the dreaded turbine speed sensor issue. Car bangs in D, and is also stuck in 2nd gear. Do I have to buy a new valve body complete or do merc sell the conductor plate separately. Any help would be appreciated.

5 speed box - plate available separately; 7 speed box - integral with valve body

Assume yours is a 7 speed box.

7g tronic

So, Ive booked the car at the local Mercedes garage, I'm hoping they'll replace the sensors only. Will keep you guys posted. Had a friend who had same problem and Mercedes charged him £500 to replace the sensor. Fingers crossed.

7g conductor plate

Got a call from Mercedes this morning telling me something I already new,
Turbine speed sensor defective, along with a price of 1800 to replace the conductor plate. I just can't afford that sort if money at the moment so I've removed the valve body and conductor plate and sent it to a place called soft electronics, theyre based in Bulgaria. Has anyone dealt with these guys?
