I have just has my TE with Mercedes for 2 days of diagnostic checks but they are still uncertain why it cuts out when slowing down at traffic lights etc. The strange thing is it will not do it every time. It may cut out, I have no problem starting it, and at the next junction it will be fine? I have had a previous mechanic look at everything he thought it could be for months so Mercedes was my last option!
I wondered whether anybody has had this problem or could suggest testing areas.
To confirm - it cuts out when idling and from about 10 m.p.h when slowing down. The idle speed control unit has been checked. As has many other things.
