2010 E350 Sport Mode Issue

Hi all,
Can anyone shed any light as to why my 2010 E350 automatically jumps into sport mode after a few seconds of driving? I can't change it back to "C" mode, but it will allow me to change to manual?
Has anyone else had this issue and did you find a solution yourself?

I'm wondering if the switch is faulty or there's a wiring fault to the switch perhaps

Check your suspension levelling rods, one may have come adrift.
