Does anyone know if it possible to easily change these over to driving on the right.
I've read the manual and it only talks about changing when the intelligent light system is fitted.

Then just the plastic stickers :( there is another lamp that is used, projector lamps, they might be adjustable, there is a link somewhere and I will try and find it

Television,

I have an LHD 2006 CLK with Bi Xenons which I want to convert to RHD. Do your Xenon instructions mentioned above also suite my case ?

Thanx

I have been trying to find the lever on my Xenons to adjust for right hand driving, but can't find it based on the descriptions. Do you have a diagram for the 2009 model s204?

Thanks

This could be something that has to be done on STAR, my CL does see what it says in your handbook, if a dealer only adjustment then on STAR only

I had a look in the manual, and it says that I should "Have the headlamps switched over at a qualified specialist workshop". But it says that about loads of things, including the fog lights. that was a 2 minute job to replace.
I don't have the ILS, just the bi-xenons. How can I find out if it has to be done on STAR? STAR is not really a solution; The little stickers are less hassle and probably cheaper than seeing the stealer twice.

To be truthful many never bother with anything,, it is only a cover that drops to cut off the high part of the beam,, if you do not use high beam I would not worry

I have read that post, and if I read it correctly my S204, MY2009 should have some lever.

Might ask the stealer or an Indie when I get near. Though they never seem to know any of these things.

My dealer will do this adjustment FOC, it's a 10min job but only if you have small hands!

The levers are accessible once the back cover is removed from the headlamp unit. It should be located next to the dipped beam bulb holder and usually to the outside (wing side) of the car. It is small and somewhat fragile, requires little force to move it.

Even if the car does have levers, what makes it hard is to know what you are feeling for, a good torch/lamp and a mirror is ideal , that is if there is room for a mirror.

It is also the action of the lever that makes it harder, lift it once and the cut off shutter comes down, lift it again and it goes up again, so if you are not sure if you did it or not gives a problem

Agreed, much easier to let the dealer do it, if one bothers at all.

I had a peek with a mirror, but it is difficult to find it if you don't know where abouts it should be and how far in. Unfortunately our dealer has never done anything free of charge. Would be much appreciated Television if you could have a peek in WIS.
