2019 AMG A35 insurance

Hi guys, i am new to this forum. Bought an AMG A35 yesterday and collect next week, need decent insurance. Currwently use Chris Knott having had a SLK 4 years ago and reading they were good but my quots from them is £601 which is £120 more than the comparison sites.

Are there any godd specialist brokers that might be able to get me something more competitive?

If your comparison site is c£480 it doesn't sound bad, check Direct Line as well, I'm with them currently and they were better by £100 ish than all the others.

In the past week I've picked up my 2019 E220 4matic, has a value of aprox €45k and have just been quoted €375.00 for fully comprehensive insurance with AIG. I know I'm in Ireland but I'm certainly very happy with that price. I'm in my late 60's, retired with over 10 yrs no claims bonus. Price also includes, full bonus protection, windscreen cover and roadside assistance. This may help someone.

Hi Daniele, welcome to the forum I'm with Tesco's and have been for the last three years. I went to them after finding they were the cheapest, for me, on a comparison web site.

As with every other Insurance Co. they do try it on at renewal time but they are flexible. My last renewal was £331 and after a short discussion they came down to £208 which was actually a little cheaper than the previous year. Don't look at my numbers though, very different car and very different region. I am just trying to illustrate that they do seem keen to do business.

Couldn't agree more. It's about time some kind of watchdog / regulator was appointed by law to stop some of their practices. Sharks!

It’s a ‘used’ car so I’m not sure. I thought it was a strange colour for an AMG but I actually really like it

MB gave me a good price for the first 2 years. I use LV at the moment. I tried Chris Knott, they were more expensive and insisted on a tracker!
