My 8 year old 250 TD Auto with 82000 on the clock works perfectly except for occasional random short periods (typically a few seconds but occasionally up to a minute) when the engine loses power and emits a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust. The car has just been serviced and MOT'd but the problem has existed for a few months. Any ideas or comment would be very welcome.
