Hi all. My ml has a noise on the top like a compensater ticking(It may be).
I have flushed the engine twice and changed the camshaft carrier compensators and cams the old one being worn on the cam jounals. This made it much quiter but i still have a tap (worse when engine cold). I know this all points to compensators again but has anyone any other ideas of what it could be?
