Hi I know its an old car but I am quite attached to it,I have owned it for eleven years,and also knew the first owner,who I bought it off.
I have renewed lots of things over the years,and the car still looks fine,its a 1987 2ltr,170.000 on the clock,I have bought a 1992,190e for spares,and have changed over about 50% of the car onto mine,
The engine is a bit more confusing having quite a few changes ,one is the auxiliary air devise its a sort of rotor ,also the air filter housing has a electric plug in the front,mine dosnt?the temp sender has three wires mine has two,I would like to swop over as many parts as possible,but the electrics seem so different,
I do intend to remove the engine out of the later model recon it and fit it to mine at a later date,oh ye the gear box has a different configuration than mine that one has reverse were my second gear is?most other parts are a straight swop,iterior, doors.bumpers,dash,wings,any help appreciated thanks
