6.3L or 6.9L SL - engine swaps

Has anyone heard of or seen a 6.3 or 6.9 liter engine installed in a 73-80 450SL or SLC or equivalent?  I wonder how much if any cutting of the body would be required.  I saw pictures of an earlier 280SL undergoing a 6.3L swap somewhere in the UK.  I wonder if that fellow reads this board.

If you do this don't forget to compare the weight of what you are putting in with what you take out.  I regard fitting bigger power boxes as not worth the effort as it messes up your suspension.  Even if the thing is designed in that way a big lump on the front plays havoc with cornering.  If you don't believe me, try driving an old E type Jag around Brands Hatch.
