'86-95 E Class Owner's Bible - new book

A new book entitled "Mercedes-Benz E-Class Owner's Bible: 1986-1995" by the well-known American Mercedes expert, Stu Ritter is now available.

Unfortunately, Amazon.co.uk don't list it, but it is available from Amazon.com (and a few other American on-line bookshops, but Amazon was the cheapest.)

Price is high, around $40 = £26 shipped to the UK, but the book has received many plaudits, and I can attest is a goldmine of information about the "E" class (but it only covers the 1986-1995 period.)

Does anyone else on here own it?

Hi Al,

I got it direct from Bentley publishers on the day it was released!  An excellent book, lots of background information on the cars.

Amazon.co.uk now lists it, I have just ordered another copy for my father as a Xmas present.

How is the 'pup'?  I hope it is behaving itself.

Hi gentlemen,
Just a quick question on the book. Does it also cover the 4 cylinder versions as these were not imported to the US as far as I know???

No mention of 4 cyl cars at all.

95% of the book is applicable though, be warned, this is no Haynes or Chiltons, it gives lots of background information and servicing hints and tips, plus some excellent fault finding.

Excellent reading, but it won't be getting oily like my MBUSA manuals or the Haynes.
