I have a 1988 260E that looks and runs like brand new money. The problem I am having is that after buying it about a month ago, it is starting to cut off whenever it feels like it. Sometimes at starting, or even if I take my foot off the gas. I am thinking it may be the OVP relay, which I see is different on the 300E. Any suggestions or other things to check? It has 140,000 miles.
