I'm aware of the problem and low and behold almost immediately after getting her back with a new front wing I noticed that the engine wouldn't rev' beyond approx' 3000 rpm.Flooring the throttle just revealed a huge flat spot in carburation speak....................However this appears to have 'cured' itself
without any intervention from myself. I wondered if the low bake oven may have loosened up some oild deposits that temporarily effected the MAF?

Any other suggestions out there?

Thanks Tim

If it returns you can try unplugging it, it sometimes proves the point.

Spray dust could have been the problem and this has been up before

Hi Tim,
Did the battery get disconnected at the body shop as my C230K misbehaves in a similar way when it gets disconnected clearing itself within a few miles. I was told it was the cars ECU relearning its parameters so to speak, how true this is not sure.
