Hi, Can anyone tell me when mercedes recommend the Timing chain should be replaced, my car has part MB & MB independent service history up to 92,000 miles, fully stamped, would the timing belt have been changed?

There is no timing belt, and the timing chain should last well past your mileage with correct servicing. Quality oils and regular changes on time will keep the chain lubricated and wear to a minimum.

As Ron these things last a long time, you will know when the time comes to change it as it will rattle on start up

All I would say is don't skimp on the job. Use someone who KNOWS Mercs. Set that chain tensioner wrong after changing the chain and you'll end up with a broken camshaft and an even bigger bill.
