a bit of help

I'm new to Mercedes, I am going to look at a 1969 280 4 door this weekend, could anyone give me any advice on what to look and listen for ... ?

Cosmetic stuff I can handle easily, it's mechanical and suspension stuff I need to know about.

Look at worn suspension joints. (take a jack with you) and "wooly steering". Oil leaks from the diff and engine. Of course RUST!
