A-Class Faulty Wiper Switch?

Indeed he has mike, it begins with D if that helps

Is it a relatively straight forward job for someone reasonably competent with cars and I don't suppose there is a step by step illustrated guide floating around anywhere.

Just to add, I have a 2007 A Class with 27k. Was there a recall and would mine have fallen outside the time limits to have it corrected.

And to add again, can anyone give me the part number, can a cheaper replacement part be sourced or does it have to be from mercedes.
