Hi Newbe here and is a bit of a luddite so be gentle!

I have an 6 yr old LWB A class which lives in France, the past couple of times I've been over I've been having some issues which are all to do with loss of power.

On the motorway I couldn't go faster than 120Km hour and no umph going up hills with foot flat to the floor normally can easily cruise at 145.

On rolling country roads I can't rev over 3000 so going up hills I drop a gear but it just slows the engine right down so it would be quicker to get out and push!

Also we have a steep drive up onto the road and often stalls as I get to the top when I check if traffic is coming I can't keep the revs up.

No warning lights come on at all and it doesn't do it all the time , it could be running ok all day I stop somewhere and start it up and its playing up
Its going into the local independant garage but I would like to have a rough idea of what it could be so I can try and explain in my limited French whats up

I've read through a few of the what seem relevant threads but they don't relate to this engine or model, and guess what its now a week over the 6 month warranty I got when I bought it , typical!
