Where do I find this info , was told 3 years but no documentationWelcome to the forum Pammie
Three years servicing on all new AMG's.
2 years on used models.
No I was told that , but just booked in, and there now saying no doesn’t include Amg models, but they asked me to show proof but I don’t know where to find itThe dealer that sold you the car should have advised you on this. I'd give them a call to confirm.
If I'm wrong on this I apologise, but this was my understanding of how the free servicing worked on AMG models.
ThankyouWelcome, Pammie.
If that is the case, then you were mis sold the vehicle. I would threaten them with requesting a refund. Too much of this stuff goes on. Perhaps you could make a telephone call to another dealer enquiring as to whether there is free servicing on AMG's?No I was told that , but just booked in, and there now saying no doesn’t include Amg models, but they asked me to show proof but I don’t know where to find it
Mercedes Sheffield had 3 years free servicing signs sat on the roof of the new cars in the showroom on Saturday - They're a JCT600 dealerJust had a very quick look into this and it seems to be dealer specific. Also it seems that only certain models tend to qualify, not so much AMG but several other cars across the range.
As an example, LSH Auto are advertising 3 years free servicing on their GLA180 AMG Line whereas JCT600 seem to be offering it across the range on their GLA models, though specifically exclude certain models, notably AMG and hybrids.
I know that when I bought my new one last year free servicing was not an option, which is a shame really as I've just got it booked in and it would have been a nice bonus.
As mentioned, if they won't adhere to their original offer, they've mis sold the car. You would be entitled to a refund. There is a 20% discount on service plans until end of November. Go on the service plan site and enter your details, use discount code SC20 and get a quote for 3 years servicing. If it's say £1500 write to JCT 600 head office and demand either 3 years servicing in accordance with the original contract or £1500 (or whatever the price is) refund in compensation, then buy a service plan. I bet I know what the outcome will be.Bought new from jct600, was told I had 3 years free servicing, booked in via Sheffield their main head office, he confirmed it was free, york now saying it excluded Amg model, yes been told it’s area specific. I have no info, only a order form they just sent through and finance that I just requested
Sounds like a result but make sure you get a proper confirmation in writing. My dealer made such a mess of handover when they sold me my GLC43 new, that they offered two years free servicing. It took me six months and a lot of chasing to get a proper service plan confirmation. I think they just hoped I would forget about it and they could then deny it when I went in for the first service. Thanks everyone, I spoke to the manager he agreed to reinstate due to car being delivered late apparently the offer had expired so they never added it on.
