ABS Pump Replacement

Having the ABS & BAS dash lights up for some time, I have been informed, after diagnostics that the ABS pump requires replacing, part number A 002 431 92 12. As this is an expensive item, is it something I could change over myself as I am not too bad with the spanners, however not sure about the fluid part of the operation. I hope someone can advise if you think this is the answer to the problem and if the change over is easy enough to do. Many thanks

as samunit already said, knowing what car you have will help with fitting advice! finding a pump should be no big problem. you have a part number. could be same no for an a class, c class and ml (for example only) and the fitting advice would therefore vary considerably!
