Aclass F mode scrapper

Hi guys been awhile since last on site,
hope everyone's ok ,anyway a140 auto
In F mode, stripped ecu from gearbox
sent to ECU TESTING . COM for repair
only to be told that someone had already
been inside box, tried to fix, in the process
lost some parts rendering ecu unrepairable.
I put the ecu back on car in order just to
move the car but seem to have the car stuck
in park with a P on the dash, the stick won't
move through R, N ,or D have I missed
something out ?

You probably havent aligned the selector on the valve body correctly, a mistake I too have made myself in the past. Drop the sump and recheck it.
