Good morning has anyone a decent contact near to Oldham in the North West to complete an AdBlue Delete please? I have spent ££££ trying to determine the issue with my S350 and don't want to plough any more money into trying to sort the issue, its amazing how quickly the charge for plugging the diagnostic computer into the car starts to add up!

Thank you in Advance

It’s illegal. Don’t do it.

Frankly at Benz prices as seen at moment I will be deleting mine when it trys to screw me over.
Make the pricing reasonable and most will keep it up together. Simples.

I read today of one guy being asked over 800!! For nox sensor and recently I read a guy paying over a grand to sort adblue which involved a tank purchase to get a sensor

And my ml had all that changed at over a grand a yr before I bought it, I wish I could be confident that I could therefore forget about that. But I am not..
I do belive the emissions kit, all of it, is designed to fail because it's a "must" and therefore the consumer is captive. A dealer/Benz gravy triain.

Its a huge gravy train its £90 every time they plug it into a diagnostic computer and then the good old software update for another £90. The prices to change each part is crazy and then another £90 to scan it again makes the eyed water.

I have found one solution but its £500 for an AdBlue removal OBD device and then you unplug certain sensors and its gone, I have asked them if it can be used on multiple S350 it would make a good group purchase between a few of us and then we could allow other owners to use it and recoup the £500. Here is a link to the YouTube video

Right now I am just collecting info. Adblue DPF, egr delete and how to deal with future mot test. Maybe not an issue for you.
Then I will collect best info on replacement parts and costs related to these devices
Then if the issues crop up for me I will sort out what best
As repeatedly said if the kit was not extortion I will/ would repair as req, but I ain't Givin near 800 for some rubbish quality nox sensors that are, it seems just as likely to fail a yr later.

I don't have deep enough pockets to not do it!
You don’t have deep enough pockets TO, it’s an automatic MOT fail, insurance invalidated if discovered etc. DVSA have been running roadside checks for years, 18mth ago a wagon driver copped a €9000 fine for having an Adblue emulator installed after being caught by the German police.

Aside from that, it’s plain wrong. You’re deliberately increasing the most harmful emissions of your car, that cause most harm to babies and small children. Reprehensible behaviour.

Good points to be taken onboard. An MOT failure is a concern, how are over owners getting through an MOT who have completed an Adblue delete?

Wouldn't it be easier just to trade it in for a petrol engine car ? I don't understand the logic o_O

The difference between the trade in price and retail price is 4k!

They can’t. Unless the test centre is on the take, because... it’s illegal.

isnt adblue only for the regeneration process, a squirt during regeneration?if thats the case how would it affect an mot test, without adblue surely it would revert to being the previous model without adblue?.

That's what I was thinking! I know people who have deleted DPF's and had an instant MOT failure but I've not seen anyone on the forums report an MOT failure for an adblue delete.
