Hi guys im new to forum. Very weird problem guys. I have c200d 2016 and on setting for adblue its shows - - on range with no adblue. Plugged it into star diagnostics and nothing came up. The car definitely has enough adblue and the adblue seems to be working but just doesnt show anything on settings for adblue. The car is running fine. The nox sensor was recently changed however the adblue issue was there before and thought the new nox sensor would fix that issue. Anyone know of this issue and how to fix?

Welcome!
No personal experience but from what I have read it's almost always nox sensor related , makes me think the new sensor is faulty?

The adblue pump / sensor in the tank can cause issues... unfortunately it comes as part of a new tank as it can't be replaced on its own (at the moment...)

Think I read a thread on that somewhere too (was it on a W166?)

Yup pump only comes with tank and other gubins thus making whole issue somewhat eye watering.

Deffo not the nox because i had codes before for the nox sensor and thats why it was replaced now those codes are gone. The adblue issue was there before i even changed the nox sensor.

Looks like i will just have to leave it as it is since i have no fault coming up and no issue. No warning for adblue and i have driven more than 3000 miles lol

Has it always been like that? Previous owner could have removed the system....

Yes i have a feeling precious owner deleted it and sold the car to me without telling me. If you look at the photo that’s what it showed when i bought the car and still showing. Wouldnt Mercedes garage or independent garage know if the adblue was deleted?

No, most would not know.

Check if your Ad blue module is plugged in, a lot of "solutions" require unplugging this.

And also any idea if this can be undone? Or recommendation to wether to leave the adblue deleted or reverse this?

It's inside the boot, behind the right hand side liner. Does take some dismantling to do.

Yes it can be reversed.

No, that would just generate loads of errors. Some mappers etc try and map out the ad blue systems but with an incomplete implementation it requires unplugging of the module to stop codes being logged.
