So, I got a warning "AdBlue level low, top up at workshop"

Went to local Esso to buy some AdBlue (I bought some there before in a 5l bottle), but they now sell it from a pump on the forecourt and not in bottles.

Anyone know why the car advises not to fill from pump? Or do they mean don't put diesel in it?

And NO I haven't RFM :)

TIA

Maybe the pump uses too much pressure for the system

I used to use the pump adblue from the lorry tank at work in my W213. 48k miles and no issue.

I think that picture on the filler is to stop you filling the adblue tank with diesel

Yours is in the boot , the hole isn't that big tbh. I've no idea of a forecourt pump nozzle . You'll need a funnel or at least a bottle with a Flexi nozzle.

I use the local filling station AdBlue pump with the nozzle, no problems but I've read some were that it's not good to over fill them. Anyone hear the same thing?

The picture is clearly a fuel pump. there are some numpties about.

Picture of a dispenser of sorts , maybe it's you that's the numptie eh ? What's in the picture, fuel or ad blue ?

Plus the op' s tank is in the boot it has no filler neck , splash backs are very possible . Even blow backs ..

In this instance I'd say use ad blue bottles and not ad blue dispenser at a garage is the label meaning. Screenshot_20250213-164846.png
